Rehabilitation Services

Immediate Needs Assessment for complex/catastrophic injuries

Here at Onyx Rehabilitation, we provide a quality independent service devising and implementing rehabilitation programmes to help people deal with the consequences of injury and rebuild their quality of life.

Our Rehabilitation Case Managers are trained professionals who help to plan, organise, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate services and resources for rehabilitation patients. They are responsible for ensuring quality and cost-effective healthcare services and serve as patient advocates.

Telephone Assessment

The Case manager will carry out a telephone assessment of the injured person in line with the rehab code 2017.
This is suitable for all injuries that can be assessed without a face-to-face meeting, or when it is not possible to carry out face-to-face meetings immediately.
The details obtained may lack the physical assessment; however, if it is deemed necessary a face-to-face meeting will be recommended at a later stage.

Vocational Rehabilitation

This can be utilised with the INA or separately. The vocational support considers the functional, psychological, and health disabilities of an individual who has been injured. It provides assistance and guidance to overcome barriers to accessing, maintaining, or returning to employment or other occupation.

Ongoing management

Ongoing case management to provide support and cost-effective treatment in order to assist individuals, who have suffered a personal injury, back to work and a pre-injury lifestyle.

Immediate Needs Assessment

An Onyx Rehabilitation Case Manager will carry out a face-to-face assessment with the injured person, in line with the Rehab Code 2017.
